Aims

The IAS is planning to reorganize its institutional structures in future in order to expand and develop existing activities, by:

• supporting academic institutions in Africa and intensifying cooperation with them
• setting up a graduate school to provide more efficient support for young researchers
• creating closer links between research and teaching
• intensifying cooperation between humanities and social sciences on the one hand and natural sciences on the other.
