Summer is calling, and we're ready to celebrate!

The Institute of African Studies (IAS) and the FZA warmly invite you to our

First IAS & FZA SUMMER PARTY 2026
Thursday, 16 July 2026
6 PM – 10 PM
FZA, Congress Room

Join us for an evening of good food, great company, music, laughter, and summer vibes.

This year's motto: Your food is your ticket (to unlimited drinks)!

As this is a potluck party, we invite everyone to bring a dish, snack, desserts, or culinary specialty (self-made or store-bought) to share. Together, we'll create a diverse and delicious buffet.

Special deal: Bring food, and your drinks are on us! Those who contribute to the buffet, will receive a VIP ribbon to get drinks free of charge throughout the evening.
Please note: Without ribbon drinks are 2 Euros/each. 

🎶 Help us build the ultimate summer playlist!
Send up to three songs that always get you dancing to Sabine (sabine.greiner@uni-bayreuth.de), and we'll add them to the party soundtrack.
