We are excited to announce that the new IAS Expert Search platform developed by the Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence at the University of Bayreuth has been officially launched. You can access it here:

The IAS Expert Search database brings together profiles of researchers who are members of Institute of African Studies or the Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence, offering a central, accessible overview of their diverse areas of expertise within the field of African Studies. It is designed to make the breadth and depth of our research community more visible – both to our own network and to external audiences. Whether for initiating new collaborations, identifying potential partners for interdisciplinary projects or publications, or responding to media and public enquiries, the platform serves as a valuable tool for connecting people and ideas.

By presenting our collective expertise in one place, the Expert Search aims to strengthen interaction across disciplines, support outreach activities, and highlight the unique contributions made by members of the Cluster and the IAS.
