Mohamed Yahya Babah's research is embedded in the field of Sufi studies, especially the so-called Sufi orders, where he pursued a project titled: “The Resurgence of Tijaniyya Spirituality through the Emergence of the Divine Flood of Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse” (or “Abrahamic Flood”, fayda ibrahimiyya, as this movement is often referred to in West Africa). He also had the opportunity to collaborate with three musicians from South Korea, Madagascar, and Mozambique for the Afro-Karibik African Festival, which was a great success.
